In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps on iOS in Nigeria showcased varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

WhatsApp Business saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 27.6K in the week of April 25. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users fluctuating between 192K and 209K throughout the quarter.

Google Chat experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, dropping to around 9.1K by mid-May, but rebounded to approximately 11.3K by the end of June. Weekly active users consistently increased, reaching nearly 52.9K in the final week of June.

OnPhone - Second Phone Number faced a decrease in weekly revenue, starting at around $1.1K and dipping to approximately $543 by mid-June. Despite this, downloads fluctuated, peaking at approximately 9.5K in the week of June 20. Active users grew, reaching around 30K in the last week of June.

Zoom Workplace maintained a steady download rate, with numbers hovering between 5.8K and 6.8K. However, the app saw a decline in weekly active users, dropping from around 48.2K at the end of March to approximately 37K by the end of June.

LinkedIn: Network & Job Finder reported a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $5.2K in the week of June 20. Weekly downloads showed a steady upward trend, reaching around 5.2K by the end of June. Active users, however, experienced a decrease, starting from 80.8K at the end of March and falling to around 76K by the end of June.
